  1. Hello - Just over two years ago I replaced all my suspension coils with Monroe branded ones and last weekend one of the front pair broke again. I don't do a lot of miles some I'm disappointed that I'm looking at repeating this job so soon - and that the warranty expired two months ago. Does anyone have a recommended alternative or was I unlucky? KYB look to be a similar price with good reputation. I'm wondering if I should do the shocks and top mounts at the same time to rule out any issues with anything else shortening their life (though hadn't noticed any problems with the quality of the ride). Could anyoe share some wisdom ahead of my getting those coil compressors out again? Also - the Haynes manual says to always replace the pair of M12 bolts on the shock/ knuckle joint. Is that 'definitely always' or an advisory? (I didn't last time )
  2. Hi Robbie - I have just signed up so this is my first post - My Meriva power steering motor finally failed at New Year. I found a company in Derbyshire who took it in and reconditiioned it with a lifetime warranty for about £250 all in. Check out https://www.ecutesting.com/ It took me an evening to extract the motor and the column (they both need to be sent) and a little less to put them back together. Happy to offer more info if helpful.
