Recently my car wouldn't start and this code came up p0402: excessive air flow egr. Seems to have sorted itself out but now I have noticed significant vibration between 60 and 70 mph. I have chang ed front wheels, immediately suspecting tyres, wheelbearings, bushes, control arm all seem fine but can't identify cause of vibration could it be anything to do with egr or maf?

Hi I am trying to track down a Drive Shaft Hanger Mount for a 1981 Vauxhall Chevette, sedan, 1256cc. These may also be referred to as a 'Hanger Bearing' I believe, although there is no bearing in them. They may also be called a 'central bearing damping ring'. The part I am looking for is shown with the red outline in the attached image - part 42. Appreciate if anyone could help me track one of these down. Cheers Brett

The panel that covers the OBD socket on my 2011 1.7 CDTi Auto is missing. I've looked on line and the cheapest s/hand replacement is 17 quid (Inc free scratches). Does anyone here have one for a more realistic price please? And don't mind posting. Also what is the 2 pin connector for? It looks like there's a light incorporated behind the panel for some reason - is that to illuminate the sockets?

Hi I have a 2017 insignia b sports tourer and the reverse light doesn't work . I have changed the bulb but this hasn't worked . Is there a fuse , I can find anything in the manual Thanks

I'm in the same situation. I spoke to a local auto electrician and he says it can't be done, he's tried it and had to mod wiring loom but still had warning lights on dash. I'm picking up a set of older insignia headlights 1ZT 011 165 and will try them out, My car has 1ZT 011 166-731 lights. I'll post back if it works out.

Fitted watts links centre bush a year ago. Now rattling with excess play. Going to fit a new one but can't find new bolt which goes through axle. Tried e bay and all other suppliers but no joy. Bolt listed on one site as M12x161. Does anyone know if this is correct?. Called dealers and gave car details. Astra 1.6 J hatch 2013.Told him needed bolt for centre watts linkage bush... His reply.. "What's that" I explained in more detail... He said "That's a new one on me" I should send you an email with a picture and you can return it with the parts marked out you need. Needles to say never got the mail. Doh Can anybody point me the right direction? Ebay or usual online boys not listing unless you got a land rover.

I have recently had an error C0045-of for the rear left (or is it?) ABS sensor so replaced it and now the code has come back but before I go replacing the hub/reluctor ring, my question is what orientation does OPL Monitor use IE sitting in the car or viewing from the front of the car? and is it different because it was developed in EU so I guess they don't use such terms as nearside and offside, so any input on this welcome as I could have been barking up the wrong side of the car!

Maybe worth checking the replaced sensor connection is tight, correct, etc as not sure if the circuit is a series connection (meaning if one sensor is out the lot go out - like a christmas tree)

Manual says the 3rd fuse box is in the left hand side rear load compartment but it’s not there. Where else would it be.

hi all, i have recently bought an insignia 2015 hatchback which has some fancy headlights in they are the “Vauxhall Insignia Front Xenon LED-DRL 2013-2017 Headlight”. the passenger side has loads of co sensation in and im guessing is leaking i looked at getting it replaced only to be told the headlight isnt available new anywhere even from vauxhall and a single second hand one will cost around £700. my question is can i just remove both headlights and out in the basic halogen ones that are readily available and a lot cheaper? is the fitting the same? and will the plug fit the basic halogen assembly wiring wise? If anyone knows or can point me to someone that would know i would greatly appreciate it.

Car was standing for 3 weeks, started OK and driven a couple of hundred yds, turned off and left for 24 hrs then started again today and another short drive (checking for brake noise). This time when I tried to turn around I couldn't reverse due to lack of power, I had to gradually bring the revs up high as poss, then slip the clutch. It started and idled OK and no dash lights I parked it up and it seems OK now. No new codes just the 10807 (turbo boost pressure) which has been there for the 5yrs I've owned it.it must be fuel related but it's not due a service/filter. Any ideas?

I'm just enquiring if this can be done as I'm not finding the answer any where online, we have xenon led drl headlights at the front of our vauxhall insignia 2015 which is supposed to be the top premium. however with the back log of waiting weeks to replace passenger side headlight only we are wondering if we can change both passenger and driver to a more basic one as there's loads of them out there we can get just not the current one if any one can help that would be appreciated.

On the indicator stalk there is a bit you can twist/roll, this changes the display to the various different displays Go into settings and select unit settings. Depending on the model of your car it's accessed by either pressing the set button or selecting settings on the screen

Maybe worth contacting the dealer to see if you should have any correspondence relating to the breakdown cover

Can anyone help? Is this coming from the power steering pump? When I turn my wheel ever so slightly to the right it makes a clicking noise?? Originally it sounds like something is catching but took it to 2 garages and no one can work out where it’s coming from. I’m thinking maybe it’s the relay???? My meriva has red/pink dexcool antifreeze, and I want to top up but my local dealer only stocks the latest GM blue antifreeze, can I mix them or is a change and flush needed? May be better to try Halfords for red OAT antifreeze?
