No, it would have to be a complete axle set at the same time for the handling not to be compromised Powerflex are the best ones to purchase from experience but may cost more

Astra J gtc 1.7cdti P0299 fault code
Vauxhall Owners Club replied to DomRhodes's topic in 2009 Onwards Astra
I would put money on it being the turbocharger variable vanes sticking due to excessive carbon deposits Try using a cleaner to remove the carbon - links below: Wynns JLM Revive -
Sorry, misread your post....thought it said 'front locks' Its possible but not sure....again if a scrapyard has the parts you can take measurements or offer it up....sometimes the manufacture won't change much metalwork to facelift a new version just superficial plastics...so certainly worth a punt and time in research

Yep I would imagine it has done, so cylinder head off to survey the damage

Zafira 2017 tourer 2l cdti belt or chain
Rob 20seh replied to Trevor ramsay's topic in New Members Introductions
I just looked on line, looks like it’s a belt engine. There is a chain linking the camshafts on the gearbox end, but they don’t normally need changing. -
Hi I'm new to the Vauxhall owners club I own a Vauxhall 10/4 1937 and I'm really struggling to find parts can anyone help me?????

I'm selling my 280bhp vxr vectra based in Farnborough Hampshire, I have had the cam chains (water pump etc) changed by nick Lloyd about 4 ISH years ago it has 143999 miles on the clock, I get it serviced every year, I have recently changed the dmf and clutch, the radiator and thermostat and housing has been replaced recently as well, it has a new battery, the MOT runs out in December. Bad points the wheels have been scuffed/kerbed because it has done many a school runs and the front fogs are not working because I don't Use them and it's not a MOT failure. The bodywork is in good condition but could do with a good colour correction polish and the interior is ok. I have some history and the v5 and two keys. Oh yes it's currently on winter tyres what could do with replacing, I have 4 Michelin that I took off and you can have them if you want but I'm sure we could negotiate this into an offer. Thanks for your time and if I can answer your question I will or at least try.

Yes that is correct and the earth pulses the injector Cannot remember exact voltage but think (distant memory) that it is battery voltage (12 volts upwards)

Worth checking the heater resistor pack or the motor ....have had both parts defective on Vauxhalls before and cheap enough for parts

Judder/bunny hop on pull away
Vauxhall Owners Club replied to kingkongsilverback's topic in Vauxhall Zafira Club
It could be a vaccum leak in the engine, defective clutch springs or Dual Mass Flywheel worn, engine mounts....so many things it could be so worth dropping into a garage for them to diagnose -
Usually water collects in the scuttle panel area below the windscreen and accessed from the engine bay. If you have a sunroof then sometimes the water can travel down into the area you describe where it should drain out but if the drains are blocked then this may be the reason

Best bet is to ask the dealer as have come across forum members who have done the same thing and dealer price was quite reasonable -

How you getting on with it? -
Maybe the pads are sticking in the carrier - best to remove pads and see that they are free to slide sideways, if they are seized then they will need cleaning up (sometimes have too much paint on them) and copperslip to ensure they don't stick in the future

Insignia B front bumper lower grill trim.
Sidney replied to Adam H's topic in Vauxhall Insignia Club
I now have a question for you Adam H, my chrome trim disappeared so had to spent the £80 but it’s not staying clipped on, haven’t got the black grille off yet so my question is: are there metal clips that hold the chrome on to the grille at the back, or clips that are part of the black grille and have broken off?
