  1. the other day i was driving along at about 70mph and the temp gauge was normal, then all of a sudden the temp gauge shot straight up into the red, and the engine was running like a bag of sh-te. i pulled into the side of the road, and called the AA, while i was waiting for them to come, i noticed the EML light was on, i had my dongel plugged in and my app on my phone ,and i read the stored codes, i think it said something about exhaust gas temp high, i cleared the codes and started the car and it ran fine, and temp gage was normal. When the AA man came he said the car went into regen and the sensor didnt like it, he said it was a common fault with Insignias, and there is a software upgrade that would sort this. Does anyone have any info on this. thanks
