Had the same Grandland x issue and after months of fighting with customer services had a new engine at no cost to us and compensation. That was a couple of months ago, and after driving across Spain, only 1200 miles on the new engine, drove off the drove, car was jumping and the engine light came on saying STOP 🛑. Engine pressure fault. During the previous initial issue vauxhall fitted 3 new sensor before identifying the consumption fault. They have now fitted a 4th oil sensor and have said the car is fine. We have now refused to accept the car back and told them it was sold not fit for purpose and are waiting for a meeting with the manager.
