    I have a two year old Vauxhall crossland, the timing belt has just gone and vauxhall are refusing to pay as it missed the last service, 2 1/2 months overdue. Even though it is clear there is a problem with the wet timing belts and this would not have been picked up at the service anyway! I am taking it to the vehicle ombudsman. It has cost me £1600 to get it repaired via a Vauxhall dealer, no other garage would even quote for it as the said it was definitely a warranty claim! I asked to speak with a manager and was told that the claim was decided and case closed! Not from my end it isn’t!!!
