I’ve just bought a Crossland that sounds the same 71 plate only up hill the same , but my main problem is the wet cam belt it runs in oil in the engine and it’s full of cracks looks ready to break its back in dealership Friday hope they change it under warranty, if they don’t I have no choice but to pay myself

Was it your wet cam belt breaking up blocking oil intake filter, these internal wet belts are a nightmare I’ve just got a Crossland not knowing it had a purecrap engine but I learned quick it’s on 42000 and checked belt by looking through oil filler hole and low and behold the belt shows signs of cracking it’s booked in this Friday I’m hopping they will change it under warranty, they are ike a ticking time bomb , wish I had never bought it , Vauxhall are not what they were it’s just a badge now and the car is made up of god knows what from god knows where .
