    2018 Zafira 1.6 diesel

    67 zafira 1.6 diesel. battery died as the car wasnt used for 6 month. Jump started the car and power steering malfuntion(dead). Took it to 2 vauxhall specialist after £300 diagnostics both said change steering rack for £1600, luckily one of the garage found a refurbished one and ordered it. Now the car says ESC OFF and doesnt start no crank no noise of relays and obd says no communication. Garage cant put new steering rack in till it starts( calibration needed for electric steering rack) £300 quoted for further diagnostics of why it wont start. help
