Does anyone have a pre 2004 Astra 1.8. Mine is 2001. I have trouble with the camshaft sensor which a main dealer tried to rectify by replacing. Unfortunately Vauxhall do not make the part any longer for cars built after 2004. Main dealer fitted two different makes of so called compatible parts, neither of which worked. Had to revert to my old one being repaired. My worry is that if the sensor breaks down again and the compatibles do not work, is that the end of my vehicle? any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

Gear selector has become slack and sometimes all lights come on until I change gear select again having trouble finding someone to fix it can anyone help for areas Lincolnshire, Norfolk,Cambridge many thanks

Slipping and all lights on. Has anyone else had this problem should I use main dealer or auto specialist for repair any help would be very grateful
