    Gear Linkage

    I don’t really know much about cars so forgive me if I’m not explaining well. The left gear linkage (the part that attaches to the to the gear stick) broke on my car. I ordered a replacement part but they have sent me the right one and not the left. Can I still use it if I put it on backwards?
