Had to destroy the old one and keep fingers crossed that the replacement would fit, which it did thank god!

Yep, that was the next step! Thought I'd ask the question first though in case there was a trick to it.

Thanks for the reply. I thought so too but couldn't get it to shift at all! Took the glass out to see if that made it easier but no joy. The replacement has nine points where it attaches so not surprised it's solid!

My sons Agila (2009) has a broken wing mirror cap. He's bought a replacement but we could do with some advice on how to remove the old one please!
