  3. Hi All, My 2010 Vauxhall Meriva experienced an EPS fault this morning, which cleared after I restarted the car. I know that this was a common fault and at one time Vauxhall were addressing it under a recall, but I’ve been advised that my car is too old to be eligible. My concern is that, if I take my car into a garage to run a diagnostic at this point (after it’s happened just this one time), will they find the fault code, or should I wait to see if it recurs before taking any action? I have read that it can start as an intermittent problem but then becomes more permanent. any advice would be gratefully received. Thank you!
