    2016 Astra steering motor problem

    My wife's 2016 Astra with under 14 k on the clock has developed a serious fault with the steering motor. It has been graunchy on full lock for some time and now is stuck and notchy when cold. Garage says it would need a new motor plus steering column. Obviouslyy it's out of guarantee time and Vauxhall dealer we bought it new from (NOW!) is gone. Anybody any ideas about how/where to seek financial redress for repair? Rick Ware
