    Meriva b gearbox

    Morning all I have owned a meriva b 1.3 diesel for about 12 months happily without incident , until 2 weeks ago ... when driving it sounded like it was a brake back plate catching , so i checked around took all the wheels off and inspected , turns out the noise is coming from gearbox. I drained oil and refilled to little result , firstly the gearbox had ATF oil but its manual , also has anyone successfully renewed gearbox on meriva without losing the will to live/burning it to ash/declaring bankruptcy . i eagerly await the response ... your sincerely Meriva widower
