    Hi, thanks for coming back to me but the one side is a standard strut but the one that has failed is hydraulic and connected to the motor controller. It is clear the seals have failed as sticky fluid has run down the outside of the unit. From what I can see they are well over £120 a pop to replace...

    Hi all l, the tailgate on my elite sports tourer is rebelling! It seems like the struts need replacing and the motorised one seems pretty pricey... Has anyone had any experience of trying to get these recharged rather than replacing?
