    teddyboy2 posted a topic in New Members Introductions
    As I needed to replace my Tourer washer motor, I did the recommended procedure of turning steering wheel to full lock and remove wing liner. Bad move, My steering locked and would not move and the ignition key would not turn either. So in desperation, I lightly tapped the ignition lock a few times, smeared graphite powder on the key, I then jacked the front of the car up to lessen weight, Bingo!. something worked, steering and ignition back to normal.
