    Just saying Hi as I have just joined the group. I have an Opel variant (as opposed to Vauxhall) Insignia 1.6VVT sedan. I bought this on auction with engine issues (supposedly a blown head gasket). It turned out to be a big old hole in cylinder #2. God knows how as there was no corresponding damage to the head. or anywhere else. However a new piston, full set of rings, lots of cleaning and careful checking, then engine is rebuilt and running sweetly. She is my daily drive and has already done a number of long trips.
