Eric Posted May 1, 2020 Share Posted May 1, 2020 Help, I've got a problem I've never experienced before. Because I am self isolating the battery in my 2004 Zafira A went flat. I charged the battery and when I put it back in the car and connected the positive cable the cooling fan started up and there was smoke coming from the engine compartment. The cable was red hot after about five seconds. Anybody got any ideas as to what is causing it? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
