  14. There are 2 different types of inlet manifold for the 1.6L Zafira B. If you have a pre 2009 XEP engine, the vacuum pump for the swirl flaps is 2900315319 The pump has a triangular shaped bracket. After 2009, the engines changed to XER and these have a vacuum pump with a longer curved bracket. Not sure on the part number but they seem far more common than the pumps for the XEP engines. The manifolds themselves are also different. The difference being in the early XEP/XE1 engines, you can see the swirl flaps at the top of the inlet. On the later XER engines they redesigned it slightly so the swirl flaps are further down inside the manifold and cannot be seen. Another thing to note. On the early XEP engines, there is a 3 pin connector for the actuator pump. The later engines do not have this. Hope this helps anyone in need. I had a tear in the diaphragm of the pump. Cheaper to change the whole pump from a breakers yard.

  17. My Vauxhall zafira Z18XER rad fan was blowing constantly on start up then all of a sudden a couple of month ago it stopped doing it. Yesterday I flushed coolant and now the rad has started blowing again. I'm totally stumped as to why this is happening.
  18. Did you have any luck, I'm also looking for one.

Ive seen lots of posts etc, regards this but none of them seem to correspond to the wiring on this car. Thanks in anticipation Terry

  24. Hi. I've just got a Crossland Ultimate (24 plate) and am wanting to connect the Navi to use Android Auto. My phone has Android Auto on it, and I've connected the phone to the car via Bluetooth (no problem). However, when I connect the phone to the car's USB (which I have to do to use Android Auto), although the phone receives power, the Android Auto setup doesn't kick in. I'm simply left at a screen which says to connect the USB cable. Has anybody else had this issue, and if so, have you been able to sort it out? Thanks for looking.
  25. Had a similar problem would reset but came up again when restarted, seen on a post , turn key two clicks , don't start engine and press accelerator down three times within ten seconds, switch off, restart presto oil life 100% no indication of oil change indication.
  26. usually built into the door latch mechanism
  27. Could need fuel filter or Air Mass Meter which give similar symptoms Alternatively, the turbo variable vanes might be gummed up with carbon The best method is to get a scan done on the engine system to see what codes appear in the memory and go from there for a more specific diagnosis
  28. I would start with a scan of the Engine Management System and go from there A fault code should point you in the right direction
  29. It sounds like something priming up or getting into position (recognise the sound but cannot place it though)
